2024 – Petards acquires Affini
Petards acquires Affini, providing radio and wireless technologies.
2020 – QRO acquires NASBox
Petards subsidiary QRO acquires NASBox and its intellectual property rights. The hardware/software provides ANPR ‘roadside’ wireless and local communications for data transfer/licence plate syntax analysis.
2018 – RTS Solutions
Petards acquires RTS Solutions, providing software solutions for UK rail infrastructure and Tier 1 contractors.
2016 – Acquisition
Petards acquires QRO Solutions, strengthening the Group’s ANPR offering for the private and public sectors.
2015 – eyeTrain
Our eyeTrain products continue to grow in popularity amongst leading train builders such as Siemens and Bombardier.
2014 – Continued growth
Significant R&D investment and a new management structure see the Petards Rail Technology offering transformed.
2013 – Restructure
The new board implement the “Fit for growth strategy”, with significant investment in new product development, recruitment and staff training.
2006 – ANPR
Petards acquires EIMC, adding advanced ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras to the ProVida brand.
2001 – Acquisition
Joyce-Loebl acquired by Petards, doubling the size of the Group.
2000 – Emergency Services
Petards acquires ProVida brand from Jai A/S of Denmark.
1997 – London Stock Exchange
Petards Group plc listed on the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
1999 – Transport
Joyce-Loebl adds transport technologies to its existing defence capabilities.
1992 – Surveillance
Petards established to develop specialist CCTV software and systems.
1977 – Acquisition
Joyce-Loebl acquired by Vickers.
1951 – Defence
Dr Herbert Loebl establishes Joyce-Loebl along with fellow engineering graduate Robert Joyce.
